Cool Custom made MEGA Live Mount

Looking for an inexpensive pole mount for your MEGA live? Here's my custom made MEGA Live pole mount. The handle is going to be made from Maple and turned on the wood lathe. At this time, I'm uncertain of the final length in the water. I'll cut it back once my War Eagle leaves hibernation and I mount it to the boat with a Scotty mount. The complete build imgur link in photos is below. Feel free to copy the design. Tight lines Crappie.com peeps!

I like it. Still trying to figure out exactly what i'm doing. As of right now i'm bolting a piece of pipe to a ram mount & then dropping a piece of 1.25" pvc into it for strength & then a 1" piece of electrical conduit with the bale on it that keeps it from sliding down for the actual turning pole with transducer mounted to it with an elbow & a piece of pipe for a handle. I made a tapped & threaded pipe collar with a t handle to screw into to lock the 1.25" in place at any heigth & be able to unlock, raise & lock all the way up & then swing ram mount inside of gunnel to stow & both the pole & ram mount will be locked in place that way when running in rough water. May end up changing to aluminium after i'm sure of a final design that suits me.
