    Default Mega live

Need help. Got a mega live from a friend , he bought it and decided to stay with his 360 mega. So I took the leap. I have a gen 4 helix 15 si . What do I need to hook it to my unit? Can I still swap screens and go back to si and di when needed? Do I need to upgrade unit? I am not a computer person. So please explain in detail. Thanks in advance

If your unit has an Ethernet port you can plug it in directly. Then you can hook up the power supply and you are ready to go. You can download the owners manual to a computer and print it off. I put mine on an sd card and had a print shop make a spiral binder so I can keep it in the boat for quick references.

So the ML hooks through eithernet not through the transducer port? If so I can still use the other screens when not using live?

Google Humminbird software updates. Find your unit and follow the directions.

Helix unit will need an ethernet adapter to connect to Mega Live.

Ok I was reading the manual and it said to power off the transducer with a switch. What kind of switch?
