I'm looking to get better electronics for my 2013 pro 165 tracker. Being on a "fixed income" now, I will be buying one unit. Two setups are not in the checkbook. That being said, I am thinking of a swivel mount on the console, transducer on the transom for down, side etc and maybe a live transducer on a separate mount on the front if I can afford it.
We are not going to be able to spend Alot of hours in the boat a day. Our bodies can't take the marathon sessions anymore.
My questions:
1. Is the money better spent on a live setup or a bigger screen?
2. Is live really worth the price?
3. does live help finding catfish?
4. Are there any sponsors on here that specialize in electronics?
What would y'all recommend?

The bigger the screen the better you will be able to see stuff. If it were me and cats were my target, I would get 2 units. For the price of the live view you can buy a nice unit for the bow.
