A piece of luck
I’ve been kicking around the idea of ordering a Humminbird Mega live transducer. I got to looking for them and they were sold out every place. So I called my local electronics shop and ordered one on Thursday expecting to see it sometime this winter. They called yesterday and said it had arrived. So I ordered a mount.

Dayne, you’re gonna love this upgrade. It is pretty awesome. Make sure you have the latest software update for the Gen 3/4 and make sure it accepts it. The software installs the live imaging to the unit so it’s crucial. When wiring, don’t forget to install the hidden drain wire on the power cord. And last thing, it takes a minute for the head unit to cycle and show the mega live transducer.
