Default Guidance requested - new trolling motor and Sonar that Link

I am looking to upgrade to a newer trolling motor and sonar that will work together. I want to be able to follow contour lines, spot lock (Anchor).
is it reasonable to think I can do it for under 2K?

You would have to have an I Pilot link in a Minkota to follow contour lines.

For that money you could could get a power drive trolling motor and put a ProNav system on it i looked into that route but decided to be a standard I pilot Terrova. It will not link to the depth finder. You can record a track and then the trolling motor will take you back along the track you recorded

I went Terrova and Helix units linked via ethernet hub. Granted I spent considerable more, however you can get it in stages.
Terrova, 24v, 80lb thrust, MDI built in, I-Pilot Link,
    Helix 9 Gen4 MDI bow,
    Helix 9 Gen4 MSI Console,
    Ethernet Port,
    Mega 360
Group 31 Duracell battery to power the boat, electronics, pumps, lights, motor, etc.
2 Group 31 Duracell batteries for the Trolling Motor.
Upgraded my main fuse panel to 60amps and feed all the electronics off it.
I have about $7.5K in the TM, Sonar, batteries, wiring, etc.
I used the boat this season without issues. I can control the TM via foot pedal, remote, or either Helix unit. I can follow a contour line, hard/soft bottom, weed edge, create my own path, or go to saved waypoints. I spend more time fishing and less time messing with the trolling motor.
