Default Terrova and Mega Live option

Just wanted to post a pic for others that have a Terrova and want to add a Mega Live or Livescope. I ordered this kit from Fishing Specialties and it allows for a quick takedown and storage of the transducer. I wanted my Mega Live transducer seperate from my trolling motor so I could still use the spot lock feature and search/scan a area when anchored. It’s a pretty easy install of the mount and connections for the Mega Live. I did have to update my Humminbird Gen 3 unit to get the latest software to operate and it was a easy process. I had to swap the Gen 2 unit that was in the bow with the Gen 3 unit at the console. So removing transducers from trolling motor and transom was needed. Since I was pulling cables, I went ahead and installed the on board charger plug in connection so I don’t have to get in the boat to find the power cord of the minn Kota onboard charger and connect to extension cord. Sorry for the ramble, just enjoying the upgrade project. Maiden voyage scheduled for Friday and test/learn the new Humminbird Mega Live system. Name: 46D4CDE1-A9E9-4D30-AF13-8483DB3EDD05.jpg

Okay! I'm waiting a report and I hope it works for you. I also am waiting in line to see how Mega works out and shipping to get better than it is. Good luck and post pictures!

Just a couple of videos from the first time on the water with Mega Live. Finished the day with 20 hand size crappie touching the boat and one good ditch pickle that tested the UL equipment. Tightlines to All!
