I ran a dedicated battery for my 93SV and GLS10 (black box). Used these switches and plate then mounted them at the bow. Ran 10 AWG wire to the switches (~6ft), then used the factory power cable to terminate the units to the switches.

So, when I pick my trolling motor up out of the water, I need to have a switch mounted close to turn the black box off? If that is correct, I am have trouble finding a 12v relay to handle the load with 8ga wire. If all of this is correct? anyone have any idea where to find such a relay?

no sir, when you hit the power off button it will give you to option to shut down or rest it, no relay needed when in use just over night etc.

Leave the unit on while using the boat. The toggle switch is to keep the GLS10 box from drawing current while not in use, I.e when you’re off the water.

Ok picked up the boat today. Something came up that I need some help with.
I purchase 2 93sv units one with transducer and one without for the LS. I am told that I need the big transducer mounted on the transom, for the console mounted 93sv. I was told that this transducer does a lot more than what I need on the trolling motor.
So what I need help with is the garmin part number of the transducer that works with a 93sv mounted on the trolling motor.
Hope this is not to confusing.

Not at all confusing, first depends on TM, brand, model etc. I do not use SI on TM, but do have the adaptor to use the sonar off my Ultrex, into my 93sv. I run two units just because I like to verify sonar against LS... waste of time but makes me feel better. The LS does it all, but easy enough to use adaptor and split screen if wanted. Some guys, (smarter than myself) use the SI on the TM, kinda like a 360.

Sorry for leaving out some info. I am going to make another mount for my live scope transducer, probably out of pvc like some on youtube. What I am looking for is information on a transducer to mount to the bottom of my minn kota trolling motor for when I am using my 93sv without live scope. It was mentioned that I would not use some of the features of the 93sv on the bow? Like I would on the console mounted unit?

IF you mount a garmin transducer on the bottom of your trolling motor it should function the same as the one on the console. Again, depending on TM that can be easy or that can be hard. There are lots of you tube videos and great information on here. My Ultrex has a built in universal which gives me sonar for just the cost of a adapter. It serves my needs. Do not really need SI and DI with the livescope.

OK I have my live scope mounted under my console and a cat 5 network cable ran up front to the 93 and all I get is a blinking red light blinking "trying to connect"
