    Default Pontoon am/fm radio help

    Filters or dsp?
Im putting togather a radio for my pontoon boat. Im mainly a fisherman and not looking for crazy loud sound. Also i have hearing loss and would like more treble. Im lookimg at the Boss MGR350B marine head unit. I already have a pair of skar 6.5 marine speakers and a set of jl 1" marine tweeters but they didnt come with filters. I was NOT goint to use an amp. Since i dont have filters for my tweeters should i get filters or some sort of marine dsp??? Thanks rob

I just run Clarion marine speakers on my boat. They are prolly 15 years old and still sound great.

That is a good radio. I have one in my boat and I’m using Polk Audio 4” speakers. Sounds good to me and I also have some hearing loss.
