Default Add helix 9 mega si to bow

Probably a crazy question but just want to know if I can put my helix 9 g4n mega si/dsi on the bow to do down scan only with my terrova with built-in dsi transducer. And possibly get a helix 10 mega si/dsi just control head only to replace the helix 9 at the console?

As long as the universal transducer is compatible with your hummingbird that should work just fine.
Of course you would need an extra power cord. Im not sure what the control head only includes.

It has the Humminbird transducer built in. I would have to get an adapter though. I believe it has the same cable end as the 360 does. It has a round connector on the trolling motor side.

To connect a HELIX 9 G4N MEGA SI/DI to the Minn Kota built in MDI - you would need this adapter cable ...:
    https://minnkotamotors.johnsonoutdoo...-hb-helix-8-12

And the SI transmitters in the HELIX must be shut off by selecting “HW + built-in MDI” in the Connected Transducer” Menu under the Sonar tab ...
