Yes, currently I have a helix 9 g4n at the console. I'm wanting to have the trolling motor transducer built in for the addition of a bow unit in the future. Preferably a helix 10 that will allow for mega live or dsi to work together from the same unit. Just hoping the mega live won't be a flop. For now what I hope to do is network the ilink to the console to Mark spots and allow the trolling motor to take me there.

I have decided to pull the trigger on a terrova 80 lb thrust 45 inch shaft with mdi built in. I checked Russell Marine products and they are on backorder 4 to 6 weeks. Does anybody know where one may be in stock that would do military discount?

Have you contacted Brian at BBG?
He's a member sponsor here. I've purchased 2 TMs from him, a Terrova and a year later an Ulterra when I upgraded.

Call him. He will talk to you for free. And he will give you your actual purchase price with the discounts then.
And, if need be, you can finance it through PayPal credit.

How do you do the finance with PayPal credit? I have been talking to Brian and he has been a load of help! Thanks

Go to PayPal and set up a line of credit. Have Brian send you an invoice for your item, and pay it with your PayPal credit account.
Disclaimer, I have never used my PayPal line of credit with Brian. I did pay for my Terrova 2 years ago using the regular PayPal account.
I've had my line of credit for over 2 years, and when I got the credit line the offer was no intrest if the charge was paid off within 6 months. I have and the agreement is still in effect 2 years later.

Contacted Brian at bbg Marine, unfortunately he doesn't have a date as to when he will get more motors in stock. In the meantime at least I have time to upgrade the factory wiring to 6 gauge, upgrade the breaker, probably buy two new batteries so they are are equal in age, and look for a 3 bank charger. If anyone knows any good deals on 3 Bank Chargers please let me know, don't really care about high amp rating because I'm a weekend fisherman so don't need them to be charged that fast.
