Default Lat. Long. Numbers don't match from older HB unit to new .

Have a 899 and when I tried to find waypoint with numbers it was way off from my new helix. Any ideas why this happens ?

There are several different formats for coordinates. I suspect your Helix needs to be changed to the same format as the 899. I don't know how to do that on a Bird but I'm sure there is someone here that does.

HB default format is Degrees Decimal Minutes ...

It should look like this - Nxx°xx.xxx’ Wxx°xx.xxx’ (for North America) ...

Position Format can be changed under the Setup tab ...

Restore Defaults on both units should default both to Degrees Decimal Minutes format ...
