    Could be running both is the ticket, I could see that being beneficial if the Bird does have strong points, just not seeing anything that looks like it will be well suited for the way I use FFS.

    I am still kind of shocked though that they(Humminbird) hasn’t done a better job marketing it if it has the capability to be useful for serious crappie fishermen. None of the videos out there are doing it any favors IMO.

    Your right, HB has not done a good job on promoting it, especially to us crappie fishermen. But then again it hasn't officially been released yet. Also I haven't seen much, if any, video from any well known crappie fishermen, everything has been from the bass guys. Totally different ballgame.
    I do remember when Livescope was first introduced. It mainly showed tarpon and people swimming. I thought what a joke. Then some videos started being posted by some crappie guys like Josh Jones. Didn't take me long then to see how much a game changer it was. Hope this is the case with HB as well. Time will tell.

    Software update for Helix 15 version 2.66 is available to download for Mega Live if you have the 15. You can run the software in demo mode to play with the settings and adjust. We are getting close!
