I doubt any of us normal folk will see it before September. I do wonder about the pro's, figured by now atleast they would atleast have them and be posting videos.

Bassmaster Elite Series guys were using them on the St. Lawrence river this weekend.
The Hummingbird sponsored pros were commenting live on TV.

It looks like HB's first offering is just like the first offering of Garmin and then of Lowrance. Now I understand why the first official video they put up was just showing fish. Looks like a 16 bit image when structure comes in to view. I was hoping Bird would clear cut the rest of the field, but not with this first offering. Video link with structure below on FB

Look at some of the latest videos. Looks pretty good to this Garmin owner. No dead spot, no ghost tree.

I have seen every vid I can find. Really disappointed from the hype and the Occulus vids someone threw out there as speculation they were using the Occulus upper technology and software. It is what it is. No way your gonna spot a fish's movement while its hidden and burried in a brush pile with that. Its just the beginning though, give them all a year or three and who knows how much better the live imaging will be with them all.

There are no HB Mega Live consumer units in use by anyone. All that is out there are Beta units. Until a consumer unit is released one cannot say what it is like...could be great..could be mediocre....could be horrible....or somewhere in the middle.

Looks like it could be great but I think they’re coming in a day late and a dollar short behind Garmin on this one.

Well, when I get one when they release it as I have it prepaid and ordered off bbg marine,,will give a report in it and show some pics. Then you all can make valid opinions and if your Garmin users,,,,slam away.
