Default Humminbird Helix 7 Display Problems

I have a Helix 7 at the console and bow. The bow Helix is glitching, dim display, and sometimes reads upside down. Now the screen is so dim I cannot even read it. I put the other Helix on the bow and ran it independently and it works. I also put the bow Helix at the console location and it still does not work. My cranking battery is almost five years old but fully charged so I don't think it's a power issue. I know the flat rate for Helix 7 repair is $189.95, but was wondering if anyone might know what the issue is before I have to send it off. Again, I don't think it's a power issue but let me know if you think otherwise.

No it's so glitchy I can't even go through the menu. I opened the SD card slot and some water came out so that might be the problem. I'm running a dehumidifier in a close off room, and running a hair dryer on AIR mode through the slot to maybe dry up any water. I did get caught in a torrential downpour the other day, and have been fishing in the rain quit a bit lately. If anyone has anything to add please keep the comments coming thanks in advance.....

After drying out my unit it works fine. If you think there is water in you fish finder try what I did it may work.
