    Default Garmin Echomap dead

Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 73sv Is dead. Battery is good. Dude is good. Connections to battery are fine. Any suggestions before I wait 3 hours on hold for Garmin next week. I’ll also contact Scheels to see if they’ll return it.

Have you verified voltage at the pins on the quick release cradle? You need a multimeter.

Make sure that connection is clean and pins are not bent or missing.

Garmin support is great. I have never had to wait long for help (but Monday mornings are the busiest for obvious reasons so I would call Tuesday morning).

Found the issue. Battery is bad. It shows charged on every charger I own but won’t run anything? Thank goodness it was t the head. Hooked it up to another battery and it was fine.

Ended up being my charger and not the battery. Took the battery back, they ran a diagnostic on it and said it was fine. I came home, switched to a brand new charger I had there, and it took a charge.
