Default Garmin 942xs setup for Livescope Questions

I am planning a reorganizing of my Chartplotters since my other Blazer will be ready soon. Since the Garmin 942xs & 1042xsv both lack a quick disconnect cradle I am thinking of setting up the 942xs as a dedicated Livescope unit. They do not come with all the internals for sonars and must run some kind of box for Sidescan. The Livescope black box is not listed on Garmin's website for the 942xs but both the Livescope page and 942xs page says "compatible". Anyone using a 942xs for Livescope and if so was any other box required to complete install?

The gls10 is needed and works with your unit.

To be clear, I only need the GLS10 that comes with the Livescope package. If so that's great. Early installs I had to use another box for Sidescan. Thank you for responding.

My good friend is 100% correct on this, I spoke with Garmin today and they confirmed thaDudeAbides wrote.
