    Default iPilot link remote question

I got a new remote from a buddy of mine for a good price. It’s an iPL remote for an Ultrex. I figured it would work on my Ulterra. Nope. It links to the motor fine but there is no stow/deploy icon. Can I update it somehow to work with the Ulterra?

My understanding is the remotes is the same. A friend of mine lost his and bought a replacement and it worked fine. If the motor was used on a TM other than an Ulterra you may want to go to systems menu and restore. Then make sure software is up to date. Then pair. I am not certain so a call to MK is probably best

Thanks, I'll try that. It was previously linked to an Ultrex so that might fix the whole issue. I couldn't imagine them having two different remotes when it would be very simple for them to just install the software for both on the same one, but it is Humminbird so...... I mean they could have put a charging port on it that accepted standard phone charging cords too, but no, that would have been too practical.
