I run a three bank and only use two, the third is insulated and taped off. I did'nt notice any difference in charging function.
I have a Nocho 4 bank battery charger that I have used but now that I’ve gone to lithium for my life scope and some of my electronics I need to just use three of the four banks should I tape up the additional leads or can I put them both on the charging battery or what should I do. Thanks for all suggestions

I just put shrink tubing around the terminal rings and zip tied the unused ones together. I wouldn’t put more than 1 bank per battery.
Just the way I do it.

They use to recommend terminating unused leads on a battery so you wouldn't get a false error code. But time changes a lot of things. Your manual should give recommendations for the unit.
