    Default Endura Max 45

    I’m dumb.

    TM works. Intermittently.

Say, I put it in forward... it won’t move til I max out that throttle position. I can slow that forward movement down if I back off. But ONLY once I’ve contacted the furthermost forward “throttle”.
    Same scenario in reverse.

I had bought this TM for the variable control to slow up to tree tops and slowly keep place against slight river current and this just makes it useless and worse than a constant speed position on a TM.

For problem diagnosis, it’s hooked to its own group 29 deep cycle battery that is less than a month old.

I ain’t buying a new TM. I’ll jump back in my sculling bucket and make do, BUT if anyone’s gotta idear, I’d appreciate the input.
Thought maybe a switch or circuit board or etc but I’m super dumb with that and parts diagram doesn’t even label those parts....
    Wonder why

    Any help would be appreciated.

Is the Enduro a tiller type or foot control?
Sounds like it’s the speed control.

If it’s a tiller handle that you twist the handle to control the speed, take the screws out of the head, remove the top plastic piece, and clean all the contacts up real good then put it back together.

Also remove the prop and check for mono wrapped around the motor shaft.

If you don't find line wrapped around it I would go further into the motor and look it over. There is always the option of putting a power width modulator and control speed that way
