    Default Livescope Pole Mount

Anyone ever had one and got rid of it? I have a very nice one and installed since day one but can't stand it, thinking about moving the transducer to the trolling motor shaft. I have enough to do without dealing with that thing.

Might consider experimenting with the transducer mounted to the t/m shaft before getting rid of the pole mount.

I have tried both. And both have their flaws. Currently mine is on my TM shaft. I'm considering spending the money on the new all aboard mount. It is mounted on the TM but let's you choose if you want it to move in sync with trolling pedal or can move independently on spot lock. It is $500 but probably worth it.

Yep I have the older style all aboard mount before Sync. I Like the looks and functionality and well built. I do not like the extra weight, how bulky it is, constantly having to move it with my arm and can barely reach the handle most the time.

I fished with a guide who had it mounted to the trolling motor shaft and really like how he could scan but also stay with the structure, jig or fish. I thought wind would be a big issue keeping it pointed where you want it but 90% or more of the time you have to fish into the wind anyway.

All aboard also has a new handle available. Its a twist instead of a swing style. Not sure if that would fix your issue. Agree on the wind. I don't need the scope on the fish every second.
