    Default New storage

When I get back from the lake I empty the boat. I mean everything but seats come out. So I was at the store today and spied the perfect case to transport my electronics. I was so impressed it came home with me.

I’d have to buy 4. Lol
Don’t think the 12 inch would fit in there.
I take it, you don’t have a garage.
    Cool idea though.

No... it's a long story but the local government would not allow me to replace my garage. I used to have one and I loaded the boat on Friday for a weekend tournament. Saturday morning I found that someone took all my electronics, 8 poles, 3 tackle boxes, and 2 batteries. Now the boats are empty if unoccupied. It's a time consuming pain in the butt. I learned my lesson.

Appreciate the pictures of the case and will look into that manufacture as cases can be crazy expensive. It's sad that a person has to wonder what they might find missing especially the way things are now. I never leave any electronics on the boat even while parked out in the garage, they all go in the house. I've got an older 2000 Nova Al-weld and have been slowly replacing some of standard head screws and bolts with the security head type for all my mounts (even rod holders) and I know it wont stop no one but at least it will make them work a little harder anyway.

I do the same, those cases are more reasonable at Harbor Freight, and there is usually a 20% off coupon in magazines. We live in the country, stuff takes a beating shed is not insulated so sweats, like them in the house.

Harbor freight has some boxes like that in different sizes. Great boxes. I have a few of them.

Yes I had been looking on the online places but didn't want to spend $90. I happened to see them while in Harbor Freight. The perfect size for $50.

Sucks about you getting ripped off.
Nothing I hate more than a thief.
    Cool idea though.

Ive been ripped off to. That is a helpless feeling. I clear out my boat even in the garage some 30 years later.

I do the same thing. I have all three of my sonars in cases from Amazon. They are great cases. I have ram mount locks on them also, along with locks on the mounts. I takes almost an hour to get the boat ready just to fish.
