Default livescope seeing fish on the bottom

I have got a question . I say I see Crappie on bottom or on cover right near the bottom on livescope . Been told by a few you can't see fish on the bottom . Many times after a cold snap early in the morning we see most hugging the bottom till it warms up in the afternoon . Comments please .

I can see fish on the bottom. They do blend into the bottom a lot of times but I can see where they are sitting because of a brighter glow or a little small hump. You don’t see a whole fish but with the right settings I can pick them out.

It depends on how hard the bottom is and how active the fish are. Some can be near impossible to distinguish if they are tight on a firm bottom. This is where fine tuning the gain at each spot is critical.

If you look long enough, you will see them moving.

Go to 8:00 minutes in this video from The Bass Tank guys. Very informational. I do use bottom fill when looking for fish on the bottom. I need to experiment with trails some more.

Using the Bottom Fill option definitely helps.
