I'm getting used to my new Helix 7 SI and DI units, with the SI at the helm and the DI on the front.
I got an Autochart SD card to chart the contours in my local river. I have it in the Helm unit to make the charts, but I need to see them on the front unit to follow the contours with the trolling motor. I am told that while the networked units share waypoints, they do not share map data.
So, is there a workaround?
Could I use a Bluetooth enabled tablet up front as a passive monitor for the helm unit?
I could record the charts at the helm and then move the card to the front unit, but that is cumbersome. Is there a way to copy the card after the charts are stored and place the copy up front?
If I bought a separate autochart card for the front unit, could I copy the files to the front unit's card on my PC?
I'm sure someone has solved this problem as it was really a poor design choice to not share the mapping

I still have legacy units, 899 on the bow and 898 at the tiller. When I move to the bow, I pull my map cards and move them with me and vice versa, bow to tiller. Typically I grab my coffee, phone, and map cards (place them in the little black box) during the move. It's second nature now and I don't even think about it. At first I would freak out and forget where I put them. Now I have 4 locations, in the tackle box, in one of the sonar units, or in the rod locker. Doesn't matter if I'm fishing my boat or with a friend. They are in one of those 4 spots.
