    Default Of course

When I got my Helix 10 back from Humminbird repair and the SI was as good as new I figured I would be squared away with my electronics. But, of course, that was not in the cards. Spent an hour while on the lake yesterday with the Garmin techs trying everything in the book (theirs, not mine) to rectify an issue with LS. Techie said new black box (GLS10) was on it’s way and to please return the one he diagnosed as problematic when I could. Amazing service, unselfish action, dedicated to get me back on the water, all traits most appreciated. Guess I will go hog and deer hunting while I wait to receive my new black box. Totally impressed with Garmin’s response.

You did better than me. I tried since March to get an on water visit, never happened. They did swap out everything in my system, somethings like the black box multiple times, before deciding they didn't have a solution to my ghost tree/dead zone issues and buying my entire system back, Echomap Ultra 122 and Livescope system for full retail price. Big dummy me took them up on that offer and went and bought a Garmin 8612 and Livescope. Still have the same issue but have a new 2 year warranty and HOPE Garmin can get this issue resolved.
Good luck with your new black box, I hope it works. I went through 4 of them not counting my new one and it didn't help at all!
