    Default Humminbird 360 live

Does anyone have any solid truth if Humminbird is coming out with something like 360 live to compete with Garmin Livescope?
Hate to pull the trigger on Livescope because I’m a true Humminbird fan.
Only brand I’ve owned since I started buying marine electronics, and that’s been a long time.

    Chuck,
I saw a flyer somewhere that Humminbird is releasing their Mega Live in March 2021 that will be compatible with G3N and newer.
    I hope it is true

I'm also a die hard Humminbird fan. I have two SI units networked on my boat. However, Humminbird has remained tight lipped about a live sonar and rumors have been fluttering around the internet for two years. I bought panoptics this summer because I was afraid I would die of old age before they released something.

This thread couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve almost convinced myself to get Livescope. I’d rather HB do something so everything stays the same.

I don't think that Lowrance's attempt at "LIVE" worked out well. I am just guessing that Garmin has the patent & wondering how much this will come into play with Humminbird.

I too have been a HB user forever.
497 I think was my first one.
The legacy 1198, 1158 were rock solid and used them forever.
I bought in on the Solix early, couldn’t use it for navigation for over a year because of software.
It seems they HB have been pushing software and hardware way to early to market.
Not near enough testing before taking our money.
    To little to late.
I jumped on the Livescope right away, I am very pleased.
Garmin customer service has been excellent.
I’ve had mine since March 2019.

I’d say you already waited to long.

That’’s from a guy that has a Solix, 360, 1199, on my boat, and would have had much more if they hadn’t changed there business model.

HB customer service is still top notch, but has to play the hand they are dealt.

Maybe they’re going slow to make sure it’s right when they release it.

I’m also imagining they have to make sure whatever they do doesn’t infringe on garmin
