Default Need Help with Garmin Echomap "network" after upgrade

    Howdy,

I previously had a Garmin Echomap 63CV at the console and a Garmin Echomap 93SV on the bow. They weren't connected to each other. Each had its own WiFi and I could connect and upgrade software and load way points using the ActiveCaptain application. I decided I wasn't happy with that and upgraded the console to a Garmin 73 SV and have them connected via Ethernet. I can see that they are connected as I can see the LiveScope from the console and SideScan from the bow.

However, only the console now has WiFi. Ok, not a problem. I attempted to install a software upgrade and upload some way points this evening. I can connect to the WiFi but after that it tells me "no compatible devices found". I'm no longer able to upgrade or transfer way points via WiFi.

Have any of you experienced this? Any suggestions on what to try?

I appreciate any help or suggestions.

    PapJ,
You only have 1 network port on each unit therefore if you connect Livescope on one of them then you eliminate the possibility of have the two units networked together. My biggest question is whether you have just the basic Echomap's or the Echomap UHD units? It makes a huge difference for networking and WIFI capabilities. Do you have the Sidescan transducer connected to the bow and the Livescope connected to the console? If that is the case then you will only see livescope on the unit where it is connected. If you want to see the Livescope on the bow then switch the transducers and connect the Livescope to the 93. Basically you have two independent units that will not network in the current configuration. Hope that helps.
