Default Need weatherproof caps for Lowrance power cable to a Lowrance Elite 7 HD?

Title pretty much says it all.

However, I have a power cable that lies open to the weather most of the time for it’s there ready to be hooked up to the Head unit which I take off when I’m not fishing - and when it’s hunting season.

im just trying to protect them from the elements, so any suggestions are appreciated!

I have only found two but one is made or for sale overseas and is called a dust cap (Lowrance Elite and HDS power connector protective boot - Dust Cap - 074-1334-000) while the other is called a Lowrance HDS Connector Caps (SKU: 000-0124-701).

I prefer the ones the ones for sale overseas but can’t find them on LOWRANCE’s website.

Anyone have any suggestions for alternatives or where to find the “dust caps?”

Do you mean heat the tape or some other material to "shrink-wrap"?

I've got that tape but didn't see that in its website description that it can be heated up to basically shrink wrap something.

I also have the dielectric grease that I can apply.

    Thank you for your response.

put shrink tube over wire, then I'd wrap with the 33+, slide shrink over e-tape and shrink it closed
