Do you have them wired directly to battery or to a fuse panel with both new wires hooked to same spot?

I’m going to say from your description, you have a power drop because of to small wiring or bad connections or a combination of both. Understand that all these new electronics the most power is drawn on initial startup then drops off as unit gets up and running. Plus a certain amount of power is required to keep unit running. So when second unit fires up that initial power draw is dropping power supply low enough to cause first unit to shut down. If on good battery only thing that can cause that is bad or weak connection or wiring to small to be able to carry load.

Cray is most likely correct. A drop in the available juice will often shut down any monitor based technology. Check Battery and then try heavier/better wiring.

the power cables are the ones supplied from lowrance but posibly a bad connection. 95 percect of the time the 12" will shut off but not right of way sometimes it will be 5 to 10 min. after you turn the other one on. the battery is brand new, ill start checking connections ./ thanks for input.

Keep in mind that brand new batteries can be bad. If you don't find a bad connection a load test might be in order. Also a voltage drop test would be in order. It can locate bad wiring or connections.

Clean battery posts and terminals . Also check fuses and fuse holders for corrosion . I would check batteries and like they said check wires for voltage drop . If mine get low and something else like livewell kicked on it could kill units .
