    Default Garmin screen mount

This ended up working out better than I expected. Used a single pole Spyderlok. Cut a plate and just bolted everything together. Seems pretty solid even with the size of the 1222.

I already have 3 baseplates so very versatile on being able to move it around as needed. I had it on one of the side plates here but will most likely use on the middle one most of the time.

This is my plan as well when I upgrade. Have you tried out the new unit? I plan on buying the same 1222 so let me know how you like it (mine is a 93sv + right now)

When taking graph off the boat can you simply loosen the middle set screw and take the top half of the pole with you? I don't want to leave mine on the boat while traveling or stored.

Actually taking it out for the first time tomorrow so I will let you know how I like it compared to my old unit (I had the 93sv as well). I fished with a buddy who has the 1222 and I instantly knew I wanted to upgrade mine!! I will definitely be taking it off the boat each time as well but not exactly sure yet how I am going to do that. I may just loosen the two knobs on the cradle, unplug it, take the screen, and leave the pole/bracket. When you do get ready to upgrade I highly recommend you give Brian at BBG Marine a shout. I have bought multiple items from him and always had a great experience.

Bought my 93sv & LS from Brian, as well. Bought a mount from Cumberland Crappie that is expandable like yours, Bluesraider. My mount has a slide in base with two screw downs, and one on the shaft that allows the shaft to go from about 1ft high to nearly 2ft high. Lucky for me that I got it when I did, as the owner/maker of the Cumberland Crappie products had heart problems & had to close up shop. I think he's only selling what he has left in inventory, as the website is closed & orders have to be made by phone call.

I actually saw another post you made about that mount a while back and made a call to them but it took a while to get a call back and i had already had this idea.Works out great being i already have 3 spyderlok baseplates in the floor and i can move this around as needed depending on the situation.

Only thing i am waiting on is my Berley Pro visor. Had one on my 93sv and it made all the difference in the world on sunny days! Weather not looking good for today but we are going to give it a go later.

Well i have mixed feelings about todays outing. The mount worked pretty good...was a little top heavy but i think overall its going to work well.

My new 1222 unit is a different story. My old 93sv had a great picture and really no issues to complain about. I heard others talk about having the "ghost tree" image and i found out in full force what they meant (pic attached). I tried lots of stuff but never could get it to go away. Pretty disappointed as it really interferes with seeing your jig or fish at times. Many times it is right in the area i am dropping down to. I had a buddy suggest something i will try next time out and sure hope it helps because that is way too much money to spend and have to deal with that all the time. But on a positive note we did boat a few good fish. Name: 20200924_115626.jpg
