Default Humminbird won't repair my unit, what are my options?

I have a 598ci HD Si that works great except for one button (view button) that frequently stops working. Its discontinued so they won't accept it for repair. Is there somewhere else I can send it for repair?

Mitch, I can tell you how to do it yourself if you can’t find anyone.
First you need a very good quality toro driver to fit screws that hold cover on. Trust me they are tight. As you remove those screws be careful because each has a tiny o’ring on it and a washer. Some come out together some leave ring or washer stuck in cover. As you get it loose lift cover and disconnect wires going to connectors on back of unit. Once cover is removed there is a circuit board over area where buttons are. Couple of screws to remove and move board. Once it is out of way the buttons are mounded into a diaphragm with contact points for each button that match contact points on circuit board. Clean both sides real good with nail polish remover then re insert buttons in face making sure they seat properly. The just reinstall everything in reverse order. Lot simpler than it sounds here and if you can take pictures as you take apart that way you know where everything goes back as you reassemble.
Most likely reason for buttons not working on birds is dirt or carbon build up on contact points.

Sent email to company that was suggested and was told that to try to get my units working would be $295 per unit ( based on screen size ) and no promises they would be able to to get them working properly again
