    Default Help with Livescope

Recently I've noticed a change in my livescope pic. when pointing the transducer towards a sloping depth i.e. looking under a dock . The picture was sloping at a drastic almost 45 degree or more angle as depth decreased. This was not doing that before. I turned ASRH off and manually adjusted degree to 7-13 degrees and it leveled out. I've had my livescope for 6 + months and am in the boat for a couple of hours everyday and this was not happening before. FYI I've attempted to calibrate the compass 4-5 times unsuccessfully and just quit worrying about it as I have a gen 3 helix next to it that I use for mapping. Any ideas ? Scott

Don't understand Rickie. Nothing has changed prior to the problem occurring. I had a custom wedge installed on my ultrex to counter the negative 3 degree pitch when I put the motor on the boat so shaft is close to plum. As I mentioned I have been using my unit for 6+ months without this problem . What am I missing ? Scott

I would give Garmin a call, they have been great the one time I had issues.

Pics? Second the reset idea. Won't hurt anything or lose way points.

I've restored factory defaults many times and then adjust settings back to where unit is usable to me. Gain on auto does not work for me. Don't have the answer but if I'm ever able to get on the lake during working hours for Garmin tech support I will try and call them. Didn't know if anyone else had experienced a sudden change in their unit similar to mine. Scott
