Sounds like it is trying to anchor on the first waypoint.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Using the Lowrance HDS Live on a NEMA 2000 network, I can create waypoints and in the trolling motor navigation mode, the Motorguide Xi3 will promptly navigate to the first waypoint and then do weird things like go on a tangent, or go in circles rather than proceed on to the next waypoint. I have created numerous routes and the result is always the same. I am sure there is a simple solution or setting that I am missing. My ultimate goal is to plot several routes just off shore and have the trolling motor navigate those routes while I enjoy a little stress free fishing. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Try this, Turn everything on select "pages" then "settings" then "network" then "GPS" then "all data" then "reset global"
I am not at the unit, but have tried with the three options after arriving at waypoint with no success. I noticed that there was a software update announced by Lowrance for this unit. If that does not work, I will try the global reset. Thanks!
As a follow-up, I updated the HDS Live to the latest software and it made no difference. It navigates to the first waypoint and then goes off on a tangent or around in circles. I think Global reset is the next step. Thanks!
