Default Livescope Battery Question - Advice Needed

I have been thinking about putting in a separate battery for my Livescope setup. I’ve been exploring buying a Lithium battery strictly for my Livescope. Have any of you guys used a 12v, 20+AH Lithium battery? Also, I’ve read where some people say your unit and the black box should be on the same battery. I would like to know if any of you have had issues powering them off of separate batteries. I have a 10ga wire already run for the black box and I was just wanting to swap it over to the lithium and just leave my unit wired as it is, which is on an accessory circuit coming off of the cranking battery. Any advice you guys can share would be appreciated.

    Thanks and Tight Lines,
    Richard

These guys at Seelite.com SeeFish 18v Milwaukee adapter – SeeLite are building a adapter for Milwaukee batteries that will run your black box. I have read a bunch about this conversion and everything I have read has been positive. One word of caution I have seen. Lots of similar adapters out there on eBay a lot cheaper but have seen where most of them are not well made and seem to warp in heat plus most I looked at most of wiring is pretty small. And all the reviews I have read on these guys is they build good products and great customer service. They also were coming out with adapter for other tool batteries so you might just give them a call most are using the 18 but it should work off 12 just fine.
    Hope this helps.

Maybe I missed it someplace, bit I hear you talk about ‘these guys’ but I don’t see a link or you don’t say who they are. Did I miss it?

I ran mine on my cranking battery at first. Had to jump my cranking battery off my trolling batteries twice. After that I put my 8610 and my live scope on a 30ah amped lithium battery. But I'm sometimes on the water for 8 hrs and ran my battery down until my unit cut off twice. So I added another 30ah amped lithium battery to it and couldn't be happier. I would have bought the 60ah battery to start with but they were out of stock. Lesson learned.

ran my 93 sv uhd and livescope yesterday off a 17 amp-hour Chinese battery that I bought on ebay for 70 bucks. Showed 13.23 volts on my harbor freight multimeter when I got home.Ran my 999off my amped 18ah and it showed 13.56. fished from 7 till 1
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

Figure most of the Lithium batteries reguardless of brand are Chinese made. I am still unsure of this type batteries . Sure saves weight but read warning about the Lithium Batteries . Great idea if it works like I hear unless it becomes a safety issue. I run a seperate 12 volt deep cycle battery just for live scope box and 1242 unit but weight is only issue .

I think the LiFePO4 batteries aren't having the problems the older lithium batteries were having. Thinking about going with some miller Tech's for the trolling motor. I just can't figure out how 2 80 amp lithium will outperform 2 115 amp wet cells.
