    Default Helix Color selection ?

On my Helix units I have the choice of 1-10 colors . Question is other than target area and shallow area how could I benefit from using more than 3 colors ?

Some pallet choices are brighter than others - brighter pallets work well on sunny days ...

But also - brighter pallets can wash out the softer fish echos - therefore darker pallets -

When using my SI I like the the blue pallet as white fish returns, for my eyes stand out better. I also speed up my scroll speed to elongate fish and make them easier to see as I do not care for a pretty picture I am strictly looking for fish. A little tip when SI`ing rock banks I darken my screen so the white of fish returns are a little easier to see.
