    Default Humminbird/Livescope???

Anybody heard if HB is going to come out with something to compete with Livescope? Thought they may roll it out at iCast but that doesnt seem to be the case. Surely they gotta have something in the works.

I don’t know if they will or not. I’m guessing, but I’d assume their current graphs will not support it so people will “need” to upgrade. If so and you’d like the technology now, why not mismatch and have a Garmin? I run the Garmin 93SV UHD and Lowrance in tandem.

Only way HB can best Garmin/Livescope is to make their 360 "live" ... IMHO.

I'm like Mikear ... I run a Gen1 Hook 7 for maps/DI and have my 93sv mounted behind the Hook on a Cumberland Crappie Fishfinder Mount (it's extendable up to almost 2' high, but is perfectly situated without raising it). The biggest problems I've encountered with Livescope is where to mount the black box & the short length of power wires for it and the 93sv. So far I've just left the black box unmounted and purchased a separate battery (68ah AGM) that I can put in the recessed area in front of the console & hook up the power wires from the black box & 93sv to it.
