    Default Just a little FYI

I took my new Terrova with ILink and Bluetooth to the lake this week for the first time. I charged the remote battery for 8 hours before I headed to the lake. When I tried to turn the remote on nothing happened. On the top left corner of the remote is an icon with a finger pushing a button. Common sense told me that was the power button. Nope. I pushed every button on the remote except the one that had a check mark on it. I assumed that was to mark a waypoint. Nope. That was the power button. I had already installed the i-Pilot app on my phone and when I tried pairing it to the Terrova it wouldn't link up. I finally gave up and called Minn Kota and they told me I had loaded the wrong iPilot app. Now I have to figure out my 360 Mega and Livescope.
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

My Terrova is still being fully underutilized as I struggle with the 21st Century electronics too. Just the other day I realized that I could set the speed I wanted for trolling and forget about it. I had read that months before, and did it, but after a long illness induced hiatus, had forgotten that fact. What a joy. Have you locked the remote yet? That's a fun thing to try to figure out on the water, particularly if you are delightfully "behind the times"
