    Default Transferring waypoints to Garmin?

Newcomer to electronics, so please pardon if this is a dumb question...my dad got a Garmin 73sv for his boat. I have the Navionics app on my phone and have lots of waypoints marked in my app. Is there a way to transfer them to his Garmin? I know it uses Navionics maps but I haven't figured out a way to transfer the waypoints yet. It would sure be nice to show up at the lake and pull up on his Garmin the points that I marked while doing my homework at home.

It is so simple a caveman could do it. You must also have active captain garmin app loaded and have fishfinder registered with active captain.

Open navionics, Menu, Markers, top right option Select, (select all optional), bottom left share symbol, select Export GPX File.

Save this file to your device. Go to the file and open it and you should be given the option to open it with active captain (or any other gps app you might have). Active captain will ask you if you want to import waypoints. Once they are in active captain you can use Sync with Plotter option. Name: 20200717_115619.jpg

LOL I don't know about "so simple" because I'm definitely a caveman when it comes to this kind of stuff, but your post is exactly the kind of step by step guidance I need. I'll give it a shot, thanks a lot.
