It is a 24v/48# Minn Kota older power drive. It is now refered to as Legacy. It's the motor with the flat plug on the pedal control
Could a pwm take the place of the board

I have not checked the pedal. I'll open it and clean it today.
Thanks for helping me.

I may have misled you on the pot. I believe your model may have a speed selector. BUT, the speed switch might not be working properly. Clean it good. Sorry, I have a v2 model. Does your tm have autopilot? I am looking at the parts drawings.
The older control board looks like a pwm board though.
I n ever seen one like yours in person, but I kinda know how they work.

DOES the speed control slide or does it click when changing speeds?

OK. It is a pwm system then. Do you have an ohmeter? If so, when you open the foort pedal, I will tell you how to check it.
The potentiometer is a etched on carbon resistor. 1k. It uses magnets in the slider assy to make contact to the carbon.
Let me know. I can get on the phone with you, just remember I don't hear very well.
