Just purchased the helix 7 msi g3n. I saw a video where he shared the mega xducer from a helix 9 msi g2n to a 7 chirp g3n. Stated it was a clearer picture on the 7.

    YouTube

My question is can I share the mega transducer from the 7 (it is not mega+)with the helix 9 chirp g2n? Could i have mega si or di displayed on the 9?

    Yes with a caveat ...

*No generation HELIX 7 SI has a dedicated DI piezo ...
*Shared sonar is processed in the unit that the xducer is physically connected to ...

So DI from the HELIX 7 MSI G3N shared to (and displayed on) the HELIX 9 G2N will be blended DI technology from the SI piezoes in the HELIX 7 MSI xducer ...

So it wont be as sharp of picture? Or detailed? That is a little above my knowledge.
