But I can’t get it. Which cables do I need to set up two locations for my Helix 8? I want to be able to run it from the bow when fishing out the front and then switch it to the console when pulling cranks, using the same transducer.

You'll obviously need 2 power cables, but I'm not sure you can "split" the transducer cable.

There is no cable to allow 1 transducer to be used at 2 different stations ...

    You have 2 options :

1: Leave the xducer cable above the deck to reach both stations ...

    2. Use HB xducer extension cable (EC W10 or EC W30) under the deck - which causes the following:

    a. Disassemble the cable collector to remove the xducer cable ...
    b. Connect male end of the extension cable to the existing xducer connector -
    c. Move the head unit to station 2
    d. Re-assemble the cable collector with the female end of the extension xducer cable

Thanks. That’s what I was afraid of. Guess it was a good idea that didn’t work

You could give up on using the same transducer and put one on the trolling motor.

Yeah that’s probably what I’ll do, except in reverse. I have a bow mount on the front. I’ll probably spend the money and get a mega transducer for the keel. Thanks

+If only using one transducer, waypoint accuracy can be affected by distance between transducer and GPS receiver when moving unit back and forth when using it's internal receiver.
