    Default Lifepo4 battery

Ok guys I have been doing a bunch of research on this topic because I personally would like to fun them in my boat. I am going to make my own 36v 105ah battery. This battery should be about 7 inches wide 9 inches tall and about 13.5 inches long. This battery should preform equivalent to a 200ah wet cell battery. If everything goes as planned I think I could sell them for around 1300. Trying to find a case that will work is a pain in the but. I would like to know if anyone would be interested in something like this.

    Thanks

Can you use an actual battery box as the case?
You might be able to find generic enclosures that are ip67-68 rated on aliexpress.com

That's what I have been doing. Need to get the cells first so I can get an exact size.

The bad is you will need a special balancing charger to charge these packs.

You can buy 100ah Lithium deep cycles for ~500 bucks right now. You have the advantage of being a lot smaller than those though.

They would have to be a whole lot cheaper for me to consider them. They are 5 times the price (not including the different charger that you need for them), and do not last 5 times as long. The weight savings is definitely not insignificant, but in my boat that is not a huge deal.

Even if you bought 12V 100 AH batteries for $500 ..... that would still be $1500 for a 36V 100AH.

I think your biggest problem would be to convince people you have a good warranty and that the battery meets all regulations.

Will this battery have Bluetooth communications?

The battery would most likely have bluetooth. It is not much more for the bms for it. Also you can charge these batteries with most chargers we all have. The bms does the balancing. I am looking at making 36v batteries so you just buy 1 instead of 3. I am also looking into chargers that I can sell with them at a good price.

    Insurance
I have a current business with 2 million coverage and could add battery sales to it no big deal.

My goal is to make a good cheap battery. To many 1000 dollar ones out there just for 1 12v I want to make a 36v and hope to sell it for like 1300 maybe 1400 with a charger. Maybe even less. Still have to get a couple things together.
