    Default Rail mount for ‘Bird gps puck


    Wanting to put my 898 on my center console and mount the puck top dead center. Any ideas or maybe have something laying around? I got no clue......

    I like mine right above the saucer. Mine are mounted on the back where there is a flat spot. The bow puck is mounted on top of a ducer mount from Ricky. I think its Attwood that makes a very nice mount that the puck threads onto.

    The GPS antenna should be mounted as close to the xducer as possible ...

    This allows the most accurate waypoint functionality ...

    Deck space and flat spots are not what I’m comfortable with. Had it on a bass boat and it had enough area close to the ducer to make it the way that’s most common. Having it up high and out of the way of everything just appeals to me. Spot on accuracy isn’t an issue. I’ll think about it some more, thanks guys.
