Default Garmin Echomap 93sv plus waypoint sharing question

Is there a way to share waypoints between two of these units (helm and bow) other than with a SD card? I read something about an optional cable, but I do not see that cable available for purchase. Thanks for your help!

You can use the brown and blue wires that come on the power cord. Just connect the brown wire on one unit to the blue wire on the other.

Well, unless I'm mistaken, the owners manual states that is true for some units but not for the 70 and 90 series. The blue and brown wires are for NEMA connections on these units.

Is this a chirp unit? If not, you need the marine network cable.

Yes, they are both chirp units.

I know this thread is a few months old but having never owned a garmin unit I have a question. I bought 2 Garmin Echomap UHD 93SV systems this morning at Bass Pro. I also bought a panoptix system. Reading the previous replies to this thread it looks like I need the RJ45 Margine Network Cable to connect the two units, but the only eithernet connection I see on the back seems to be for the panoptix system. Can you not teather these two units and share waypoints and the like if you are using the livescope? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Check page 39 of your owners manual for info. (It's a little confusing, I know.)
I have 2 of the non-uhd 93sv's connected with a network cable I made myself, and it works wonderfully, but I don't have livescope. It's my understanding you have to do something different when livescope occupies the network port. Hopefully, someone with experience will chime in.

Thanks for the info, I just got off the phone with Garmin and if I buy a network port adapter for a mere 250 additional dollars I can make it all work. I'm suffering a little sticker shock at this point in time.
