A very useful tool no doubt. I just learned that my mega 360 transducer has come in for my Ultrex, but the "y" cable is still not in... but is expected any day.

I will have to play with my settings some more and see if I can get them as clear as yours are showing. Looks like your using a different pallette than me also. Maybe I should play around more cause those fish on yours are jumping out at you. I have to squint to see them on mine lol maybe it’s my eyes.

Start out with sensitivity set on 10, contrast 10, sharpness at 0, I never mess with sharpness or really, anything else. I find tho on muddy bottoms, you might have really play with the sharpness and contrast and for me, the color of the screen settings is either a 2-3 or 4 depending on the sunlight. If your moving, for example, trolling, then your going to have to constantly adjust Sensitivity and and Contrast for the hardness or whatever your bottom of the lake consists of. As the bottom changes, you might have to adjust your settings.

I know bigger is better but for the guys that’s running the new mega 360 is the 10” screen plenty big and enough to see details while in the boat fishing? What’s the smallest screen size (in your opinion) would you be comfortable with using the mega 360?

Personally, I wouldn’t go below a 9”. When using the mega 360 your looking for detail and the smaller the screen, the smaller the detail. Even using a 10” screen, I am using the front view setting as it increases the size of the view of the 360 and gives me a increase of detail. Granted you can enlarge And expand the screen also to 4X But it blurs detail the more it’s expanded and enlarged. As always said, bigger is better.

Those are some great shots the first two are they same school or two schools. When you was catching did anytime the schools move on you. If they move how many where able come out the school or schools before they move.

Different schools and they would constantly move as cold water and they would scatter on me. When the water warms alittle and they are in a feeding bing, you can circle back or figure 8 them over and over and nail them better. Eventually, they will break up and scatter to spawn as that nears.
