Yes, get you a blade type fuse holder put ring eye on one end to attach to battery then solder other end to wire connecting to adapter using heat shrink to seal.
I have a LiveScope system on the way and plan on running a dedicated battery up front to power the black box, 1022 head unit, TM heading sensor and HB Helix 10. I have purchased a six fuze box with grounds and was wondering if my power supply wires are short (less than 24 inches) should I still put an inline fuze immediately of the battery? For a few bucks it makes sense to me. Thoughts

What Cray said, your head unit should come with an inline glass canister fuse and the black box will be equipped with a 2.5 amp blade fuse. For the helix unit and heading sensor you would need to provide your own inline fuse.

Agreed. You don't want to burn up the sonar over the price of an inline fuse.
Do ya'll recommend an in-line glass fuse near the Helix in addition to the blade fuse at the battery? Or is the blade fuse sufficient?
