I have heard there will be something introduced next month from Garmin, "very simple but intriguing" hence the $200 rebate just introduced. As others have mentioned the electronics world is never ending....
I just purchased a Garmin unit and Livescope myself, have not got it installed yet but looking forward to giving it a go!!

Default Newer model of livescope 2021??

I’m still catching fish with Down Imaging lol. Haven’t even upgraded to SI yet! May skip it and try Livescope, but not sold on that either. I don’t tournament fish so I catch plenty without the latest and greatest.
I would say like others have mentioned, get something sooner than later and enjoy it now. May not have the health to enjoy it later. Every minute is a gift and blessing.

Why would anyone ever buy a vehicle ? Because they bring out a newer and better model every year. Funny no one ever worries about this. When investing in a vehicle. Add to the fact that it is a much larger investment.

Solution: if you want/need it today buy it. Learn to use it to the best of your ability. Chances are when they do come out with something even better. You might want it but you really don't need it as you have mastered your present system.

When I invested in Garmin. I was able to see it in action. Guy had an identical setup to what I use now. Which is PS30 Panoptix and PS21 Panoptix. Which finds fish so well I have no need to invest in the newer Livescope.

A person can strive to earn and save as much money as possible. When it comes time to leave this life. You will leave with exactly what you came into life with. Which is exactly zero. The degree with which you enjoy your life. Can never be taken from you.Granted my philosphy wouldn't work for everyone but it sure works for me.

just got off the ice after fishing with a friend who brought out his garmin. punch a hole drop it and spin then mark off where the fish are and cut another hole. ended up with 30 gills which were released . once fish were spotted we used a flasher and could follow the fih coming up to the jig. most turned away but some slammed it. the vision it shows is incredible the ponds we fished had no structure so it was almost like whacka mole fishing as they kept moving in small schools rich
