Pictures would help, not sure if your boat is a step hull design or not. I would try to mount the ducers on the opposite side of the motor if at all possible. If not I would say the DI could be mounted slightly higher than the mega ducer. They operate on different frequencies so interference shouldn't be an issue. This is how I mounted my mega ducer on my step hull. I have a DI unit I intend to use as a dedicated mapping unit but just haven't gotten around to installing. I will mount that transducer on the opposite side of the transom. My biggest issue is finding room at the console for a 2nd graph without losing my windshield.
