Default HB Helix-10 w/GPS on new Stick Steer 16 ft.

currently shopping for a new stick steer 16ft panfish Xpress, I'm curious about a possibility of mounting just one head unit with one transducer on the bow trolling motor and a 2nd transducer on the stern of the 16 ft boat. .… since it's a stick steer panfish special I'd be in the bow seat 90% of the time. Could both transducer cables run into a Y connector with some type of convenient switch ?

Also considering 2 mini -powerpoles on the stern

There are 2 “Y” cables available from Humminbird ...

    1. Splits off the 2d crystal such that SI/DI/Temp comes from the stock xducer and 2d comes from a separate 2d xducer ...

    2. Splits off the left SI crystal such that 2d/DI/right SI/Temp comes from the stock xducer and left SI comes from a separate SI xducer ...

There is no switch available to use 2 xducers on 1 head unit ...

This is how I have my stick boat rigged. Just make sure when not in use the switch is in the 1 position. When left in 2 position it drains the battery. This system works very well in my boat

HB TS3 Switch was discontinued many years ago ... I bought one right before HB discontinued it ...

Might find one on eBay ...

There is no switch in current production for using 2 xducers on 1 head unit ... only the two Y cables I noted in post #2 ...
    ——-

HB TS3 Switch has no DI channel because it was in production before HB had dedicated DI in the SI xducers ... so using HB TS3 Switch with a SI unit that has dedicated DI would lose the DI function of the unit ...
