    Default another livescope query

I see that you can click the transducer up not 1 but 2 positions up from downscope. How does the difference between the 2 change the view? It would seem that clicking up 2 spots would change where it was pointing. Obviously. 1 or 2 clicks. which is right?

The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

    Default another livescope query

LibeScope offers 2 views in the same xducer -

LiveScope Forward - which displays as everything to the right of “0” in the top scale is in front of the xducer ...

LiveScope Down ... which displays as left and right of “0” in the top scale is left and right of the xducer ...

The xducer automatically detects the orientation of the xducer (by the orientation angle) and switches the view on the head unit ...

LiveScope cannot do both views at the same time - it’s one or the other ...

And unless you are in very deep water the forward view works the best, at least for me and a couple of buddies when we discussed this. I have not had a reason to flip the transducer down.

I watched the video. This is the picture from it for correct foreword orientation.
    IS THIS CORRECT?
I must have looked at the instructions 25 times and from what i saw , mounted on the right side of a pole, the bottom of the transducer is set parallel to the waterline.
This picture shows the center of the unit parallel to the waterline.
Someone set me straight once and forever.

Just realize the large flat surface is facing forward. In the video forward would be to the left. Original manuals had this orientation backwards.

This is how mine is mounted and it works perfectly. You probably get a better idea seeing it on the barrel of a trolling motor. This is forward view of course.
