    Default Motorguide XI5

This past fall I installed a XI5 on my boat. I do have it connected via NEMA to my Lowrance Live9 on my console. No issues to speak of. Works as it should. Anchor lock is AWESOME.
The XI5 does have an internal transducer. It connected right up to my old X135 Lowrance I have on the bow, and worked just fine. BUT now I am looking to upgrade the front depth finder to replace the old X135. I don't need sidescan, down scan, or anything. I am just looking for a head unit that will plug right into the transducer on the XI5. Pretty basic but color screen would be nice. Maping would be nice just so I can see a waypoint. I don't want t break the bank on one. I was hoping to find something for $200-300 or less. Any recommendations from you guys?

    Thanks
    Steve

$200-300 you could probably find a new 5 Hook2 with mapping, but it won't plug into your xi5 2d sonar with out a adapter. Used HDS gen 1 or 2 none touch 5" and 7" sell on EBay sell about in that price range and would plug in the xi5 like your x135 does.

Thanks for the input guys. I did just purchase a used HDS7 touch to put up front.
